Showing at the Palm Springs WestFest Design Expo & Rodeo

Kim has been asked to be a part of the Palm Springs WestFest Design Expo- boasted the largest Western festival in California. The Expo is March 24 - 27 in Palm Springs, California where Western lifestyle will be highlighted in a multimedia format including paintings, sculpture, leatherwork, jewelry and other media representative of today’s cowboy culture. Selected as 2010 ANLS Premier Artist

Once again, Kim was selected as the 2010 Arizona Nationals Livestock Show (ANLS) Premier Artist. This year's nomination and selection continues her five-year running streak recieving this noteworthy recognition. This year's selected artwork is an oil entitled "Learnin' the Ropes" which features her then-young son Travis practicing his roping prowess. The Arizona National Livestock Show is the largest Livestock Show in the Southwest, an annual Phoenix tradition since 1948.

Arizona artist for 2008 White House Christmas Ornament

Kim was selected by her Congressman to design and paint the 2008 White House Christmas ornament for her District in Arizona. In her 8 years in the White House, Mrs. Laura Bush has coordinated a themed Christmas tree with participation by artists across the United States. The 2008 theme was "A Red, White, and Blue Christmas". Kim incorporated the western horseman, native american heritage, U.S. flag, and the Arizona State flag and colors into her ornament design.

Kim and her husband Macky attended the Christmas reception at the White House on December 2, 2008 where they enjoyed a catered dinner with fellow artists, a speech by Mrs. Laura Bush, and a private tour of the White House.
